Dark Folk / Black Metal

Aerial Ruin, based in Portland, Oregon is the primarily acoustic solo project of Erik Moggridge whose “richly evocative dark folk style makes for a head-in-hand listening experience. Yes it’s dark and minimal, evoking solitude and loneliness but also magic and mesmerizing, soothing and restorative.”* Moggridge also serves as a regular guest vocalist/collaborator with Seattle’s doom duo Bell Witch, performing and recording on select songs and occasions, most notably writing and performing the majority of the vocals in the latter half (or final 38 minutes) of the their critically acclaimed new album Mirror Reaper.

Iffernet debut album's instrumentals have been self and live recorded in a lost area in the Périgord Noir (south of France, from december 27-31 2018). It's raw, soul shattering Blackmetal, which leaves you flat as pancake! To support this first album, Iffernet will tour 12 days along with Aerial Ruin from Portland, in France and Switzerland.
